JPIXX: INTERNSHIP AND POST-INTERN VIDEOS
Jpixx is a video-led digital marketing agency in Virginia Beach specializing in narrative and message-driven content. In Spring 2015 I had the pleasure of being a Production Intern with this ADDY Award-winning firm, who also boasts being the 2012 48HFP International Grand Champion ("In Captivity"). I believe you can have good quality and good times, so when Jon Abrahams, Creative Director and Co-Owner with his wife, Teviya, welcomed me aboard as an intern I was thrilled because this company has a great reputation. When people are passionate about what they do it shows and I aspire to be the kind of filmmaker my mentors are. Here are some of the commercials and videos I had a hand in making during my time there. Please visit their website at www.jpixx.com as well as their social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter).

Norfolk Harborfest 2015 - 360 VR Video
During my internship I fell in love with what's called a 360-degree camera. It's waterproof, can be controlled remotely by an app on your phone, and can take timelapse footage.
STUDIO CENTER: VIDEO PRODUCTION INTERNSHIP
Studio Center is the largest commercial media production company in the United States. Specializing in voice over, audio, video production, and motion graphics, they create, record, and produce commercial media for TV and radio. As a Video Production Intern I have honed my cinematography, producing, and post-production skills. I have assisted in shooting a corporate video and music video; a photography shoot for a bakery and restaurant chain; learned valuable skills on how to shoot corporate head shots (and even got a lesson on how it's different from shooting actors' headshots and models/fashion photography); created a behind-the-scenes video using Adobe Premiere Pro; transcribed video content; assisted in finding talent for shows; and captured video footage at a groundbreaking ceremony and Homecoming event at the oldest secondary school in Virginia. Please visit their website at www.StudioCenter.com as well as their social media pages (Facebook, Twitter, SC's Entertainment Twitter, and Instagram).
WHRO PUBLIC MEDIA: TV PRODUCTION INTERNSHIP
WHRO-TV, channel 15, is the Public Broadcasting Service member Public television station for Hampton Roads, Virginia. It is owned by a consortium of 19 Hampton Roads and Eastern Shore school systems, and was the first educational station licensed in Virginia. I am proud to announce that after being an intern for almost 5 months I was hired as a freelance, part-time Television Production Technician. Please visit their website as well as their social media pages (Facebook and Instagram).
